Project Description

This major home expansion added 1231 square feet of heated living area and 281 square feet of porch. The kitchen was opened up to the added on family room as well as to existing dining areas. The new vaulted ceiling front family room with fireplace incorporates an office area with lower ceiling.

A rear first floor bedroom was expanded to form a spacious master suite with new bath and adequate closet space. The stairway to the upstairs was opened up to better integrate the formerly remodeled second floor with the reconfigured first floor areas. The front elevation was modified and unified by the added porch areas and elimination of the intruding fireplace and chimney.
